Mr. Sadak has over 35 years of experience doing business in Asia. In 1992, he founded a boutique advisory firm to assist American business to expand into Asia that is now BrandAmerica. Prior to 1992, Mr. Sadak worked for16 years in international investment banking. During ten of those years he lived and worked in Hong Kong. While in Hong Kong Mr. Sadak was Managing Director of Chase Manhattan’s Asian Investment bank where his responsibilities included managing the bank’s Asia Pacific Mergers & Acquisitions Division, co-managed the bank’s Asian direct investment portfolio and co-managed the Chase Philippine Investment fund.
Mr. Sadak has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from American International College and has completed courses in East Asian Studies & Global Finance Strategies at Harvard University.
Michael Schoettle, Advisor
Mr. Schoettle was a Partner in Los Angeles for twenty-three years in the executive search firm, Heidrick & Struggles, and retired in 1999. Since then he has been active with the Tech Coast Angels, a Southern California angel investor group where he has invested in eighteen companies. He is on the faculty of Loyola Marymount University’s Executive MBA program, where with a partner he heads a course and coaching program for the EMBA’s to manage their professional growth.
Prior to Heidrick & Struggles, Mr. Schoettle was in sales and marketing at Xerox Corporation and before that in marketing at FJ Stokes in Philadelphia, a division of Pennwalt Corporation.
Mr. Schoettle graduated from Yale University in 1958 and Harvard Business School in 1963. He was an officer in the U.S. Navy between college and business school.
Mr. Schoettle is an active sailor and has held a number of leadership positions in the sport of sailing. He has been a member of the United States Olympic Sailing team three times, including being Team Leader in 1992. He was Director of Yacht Racing at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Donna Pittman, Director
Donna Pittman worked 28 years with the Department of the Treasury, specifically the Internal Revenue Service and most recently the Taxpayer Advocate Service prior to retiring in 2007.
At the Internal Revenue Service, Ms. Pittman worked as a lead Tax Examiner, Tax Auditor and Revenue Agent. She was a tax matters expert with small business taxes. She worked 20 years with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) and is a certified instructor who taught classes in tax law changes across the country.
Later, as an Associate Advocate with the Taxpayer Advocate Service, she assisted taxpayers with various issues they had with the Internal Revenue Service. Issues that ranged from ongoing tax audits to all phases of the collection process.
Ms. Pittman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Accounting option from California State University, Fresno. She also attended Irvine Valley College and studied Information Technology.
